sorry i've been m.i.a. for the past couple months. i've been so overwhelmed by school and stress that it's actually weaken my immune system. i've had strep throat for almost a month now and it's actually getting worse. my doctor said that my body probably has a resistance to the antibiotics she gave me. and to make things worse i've had so much on my shoulder lately. i've been stressed out with college apps, boys, friends (fake ones), parents, and so much more. i promise to try to keep this posted on here. i'll have pictures of a fashion show up soon. it's not that grand i don't think but while on his business trip my dad got front row seats to an elite fahion show where they showed alberta ferretti dresses. once my dad has the time to unpack i will definitely put up the pictures. apparently the photographer was persian (i think, well one of the people were persian- that's how he got the tickets) and he took an amazing picture of my dad. i can't believe this happens to my father and not me.
anyways here are some pictures that kind of reflect my emotions at the time.

My Closet Feels Empty...

i'm started to want new things in my closet already. which isn't good but still. the parentals said if i go shopping one more time before halloween that they'll send me to therapy. pfft like they're serious! as odd as it sounds i really want a pair of the new converse all star light. i'm not really sure why i do but they seem like a pair of shoes that are not yet overrated (yet) that would be fun to play around with. maybe i'd keep it boring and just stick with black or get gold. i'd have to try them on first though. i must get ruffles and lots of it! i want a ruffled mini skirt to wear with a striped long sleeve and black tights. a black ruffled top would sound so adoarble with a bright colored mini skirt (pink, electric blue, green, etc) and yet again, tights. if you can't tell i'm obsessed with tights. and with that, i want a pair if two-toned tights like the chanel ones. i'm still yearning for a pair of cheap stirrup jeans! i really want a jumper too...preferrably in gray. a cute bright colored bubble skirt sounds fun also. i'm really into dark colors and a little splash of something bright right now. sorry, i know this isn't the most amzing post ever but i promise to try to make it more exciting. if only someone would take pictures of the outfits i wear...that'd be fun. ciao for now!

today turned out to be one of those fabulously random days. first, i was suppose to see the boy (not boyfriend...just boy). lets just say things didn't work out...so my friend michelle and i decided to have an anti-boy adventure! we first went to the beach in the complete wrong attire but hey we're non-conformists and enjoy breaking necks :] we got ice cream and just walked along the beach on the platform looking at gorgeous men. we then decided to go to fashion island. on the way michelle did her "thang" and started winking at a boy and he asked us where we're going and he said that they'll follow us. in the end everything turned out to be great. this is just one of those random posts. enjoy summer while it still lasts! <3

So yesterday michelle, elana, alena, and myself went to the yorba linda regional park to have a picnic. i thought i came up with a brilliant idea of going to costco and buying some snacks to munch on while laugh and look through fashion magazines. turns out, we were all too indecisive and we forgot how big costco packs are. we did end up buying a case of smart water and a pizza though. then off to the park we went. i forgot how serene and beautiful it is! we even fed the ducks there some pizza. here ar some pictures for your entertainment. i'm leaving for las vegas tomorrow and won't be home until the 14th. i promise more posts when i come back. i'll hopefully will have loads of new outfits from there to post here :]

Oh What a Day...

sorry i've been lagging on the blog lately. i just have writers block or i guess fashion block? i just feel so uninspired. anyways so today i was at my cousin's house in mission viejo. he just started the engine to his car and we feel the car shaking. personally i thought there was something wrong with his car but it turned out to be an earthquake. to my surprise, my cousin is supposedly scared of earthquakes (honestly grow some balls! he's a man for heaven's sake!). well anyways he freaks out and accidently slams on the gas and we hit a curb and a tree. we were alright but his "baby" has a dent in the front. my dad felt the earthquake all the way in downtown l.a. also. apparently the earthquake originated in chino and was 5.4 on the richter scale.
anyways while at my cousin's house i decided to sketch up some things. i don't want to be modest but honestly i know they aren't the greatest sketches in the world i was just uber bored and i need to post something new on here. and sorry for the horrible coloring...my coloring untecils were very limited.

tomorrow i'm going to go shopping at the irvine spectrum with my lovely fashion buddies so i will hopefully have pictures up tomorrow :]

I Own a Pair of Louboutins

i wish! well, i almost did buy a pair of louboutins today! i went to fashion island with my mom and neiman marcus is having a huge sale...shoes were 40-65% off! and what did i find...a pair of louboutins for $253! they were originally $780! only one problem...they were this obnoxiously neon orange color. don't get me wrong i'm a huge fan of neon colors but it was just too much. of course i debated over it, a pair of louboutin's for only $253! but i didn't get carried away because i knew for a fact i would never wear them! but i did learn one thing today...louboutin's run small so you have to buy 1-1 1/2 sizes bigger. I had to try on a 10 1/2 (i'm ussually a 9 but in heels i have to get 9 1/2 since i unfortunately have wide feet).
anyways, afterwards we went to south coast plaza. (the original reason why i went shopping with my mom is because my cousin's wedding is in 3 weeks and we still had to buy dresses and such). my mom found a dress at bloomingdale's but had to go to south coast to get her size. while we were at south coast we decided to get coffee bean (their caramel frappacinos are soooo much yummier than starbucks'!...even though i still love starbucks). anyways, saks was right there so i decided to go look at their dresses there. i saw a very elegant gray philosophy by alberta ferretti dress there. sadly, the bust area didn't work out too well for me since my twins are pretty...well big. i also saw my mike&chris leather jacket that i've been lusting over for quite a while now. i tried it on and my mom said she liked it, so hopefully i'll get it for my birthday? i wish! so we go upstairs and while we're on the escalator i saw this gorgeous purple pencil dress with a jeweled high waisted belt, i ran towards it once i got off. it was a vera wang lavender dress that i'm in love with! i tried it on and it was absolutely stunning. sadly, i had some problems with the bust area once again so i had to order a size bigger from new york.
even though i didn't score a pair of louboutin's i did get michael kors flats and platforms. i'll have pictures soon as soon as i get my dress in.

i totally love that yves saint laurent belt! the bow is very girly and fun, yet it still looks elegant.

Crushed One Too Many Times...

so i thought this time it would be different. i definitely thought he was different, he even proved to me he was. i feel like such an idiot...its been 27 hours since we last talked and all he said was "im busy ill text u later". well 27 hours later nothing. i know i shouldn't be overreacting like this but the thing is we talked every single night for 4+ hours. we would talk until morning. one night we talked until 6:30 in the morning. at first i didn't feel any chemistry, nor was i looking for any. he never pushed that "he was different" he proved it to me by the way he respected me and such. we've been like this for the past couple of months but started to grow fond of each other after my surgery. i mean i didn't even mention him to any of my friends because i wanted to see if this time it would be different. unfortunately, i guess not. it's just funny how we both coincidentally drunk dialed each other spilled our feelings towards each other. im going crazy here, even though i shouldn't be. i don't want to be the one always texting and calling him. i'm not the "obsessive" clingy type. *sigh* it's just one of those days...damn i need to go shopping. oh, and to make things worse i saw an old fling...two nights in a row at two different parties. talk about awkward. he kept trying to show off in front of me by "accidently" hitting on my friends in front of my face. but 4th of july is a total different and wild story.

i don't know what is up with that stupid car...has nothing to do with the song but whatever.

oh, and sorry i haven't really been updating...just been too busy partying :P

being a total dior freak i decided to put some information about himself, yves saint laurent, marc bohen, gianfranco ferre, and john galliano. i also found AMAZING pictures!

fashion designer christian dior was born in normandy, france in 1905. accending to his parents' wishes to become a diplomat, he attended the ecole des sciences politiques from 1920 to 1925, but his only wish was to be involved in the arts. after military service in the 1930s, dior started doing sketches for haute couture houses and in 1938 he was hired by robert piguet. in 1946 he designed for marcel boussac. boussac was interested in dior's new idea using lots of layers of extravagant fabrics. following that dior established his main fashion house in 1949 with the backing of boussac. his designs were sensual, feminine; he was a master at creating shapes and silhouettes; giving his models a very curvaceous form. his "new look" revolutionized women's dresses and reestablished Paris as the center of the fashion world after world war II.

in 1953, dior hired yves saint laurent as an assistant. after dior's sudden death in october 1957 in italy, saint laurent became head designer and introduced the trapeze dress in his first collection for the house. when saint laurent was called for military duty in 1960, marc bohan took over, remaining until gianfranco ferre became designer in 1989. In 1996 john galliano took over the reins to become the chief fashion designer at dior.

so i was looking through US Weekly today, and i came across a picture of rihanna with a studded bracelet and now i'm totally in love with the idea! i also found a white one that has a more retro feel to it. i'm now going to hunt down for a white studded bracelet with either gold or copper studs. i always loved rihanna's style...it has this retro edgy chic-ness to it that i totally love! this totally inspired me to put together some "good girl, gone bad-esque" stuff that i'm totally lusting over right now. and yes, i did add the cut-out dior sandals once again. hey, what can i say? i'm a total dior lover! and i definately will do anything to get my hands on those sandals. too bad my parents aren't willing to buy them for me...maybe i'll wait a little and pray that the dior outlet will bring it and insist on them to buy it for me. i was also looking through some leather mini skirts and i found a picture of ashley olsen repping a high-waisted leather miniskirt...totally adorable!

totally love the outfit, but in my opinion she could've left the crochet stockings. i think it just makes her outfit too busy. is it just me or does it make her look very short too?!

i was worried sick that i would become even more obese after my surgery since, well i'm pretty much handicapped. i mean i do just sit and "elevate" my knee...that's pretty much it. but thankfully that hasn't been the case and i think i have even been losing a little bit of weight. i know, it may sound unhealthy right now but it's just because with all these medications you don't really have an appetite. but i've been eating a lot of fruits, salad, and protein shakes. it has motivated me to give that extra push and work out even harder this summer to aim for that healthy skinny look (don't worry i do not want to be skin and bones). i realized i'm going to be a senior, i'm OFFICIALLY moving today (the uhaul's outside right now!), i cut my hair (i was uber bored and i needed a trim...it actually looks good haha), and knock on wood i'm getting my new car soon so why not a new body? i've been struggling with my weight since forever and i actually lost weight, then gained it all back when i had my depression sophomore year. then i had a reality check that i need to lose weight or my health will be at risk. so i've been working hard since then. however, i know i can work harder. i was lurking around and i found so many adorable (and affordable) outfits i would love to wear, but need to trim down a little bit in order to pull off!

while i was looking around i found this valentino clutch. it's red (of course) and kind of different. it is somewhat childish and juvenile looking but some people can pull it off with the right outfit. (if they're smart enough they'd pull off some gorgeous louboutin's with it).

Why does house music lack so much recognition?

so i was totally anxious to buy the rock 'n' rave album by benny benassi and it was nowhere to be found! where is a good music store around here when you need one?! so i go to borders and order it and now i must wait 5-7 business days. that is way too long! ive been waiting for this cd for the longet time and now i have to wait another week! i keep going on itunes and playing the samples over and over again all the songs are amazing! there's no point of buying it on itunes though because it's not the same as having the cd (plus the cd plays so much better in cars...it's like a discotech in your car). i feel so bad for all those dj's out there, they deserve so much more recognition. they MAKE all their songs....they spend hours and hours calculating the amount of bass that should be used, what kind of beat, if you should have lyrics (and if so who should sing it), etc. true, it can get repetitive, but it pumps up your blood and makes you want to dance.

so im dyingggg to buy a leather jacket...but of course i can't afford the ones i want. there's this adorable mike & chris leather jacket i want. it has that standard hoodie look and it just looks so comfy. i so wish i could buy a $865 jacket. i also found two edgy motorcycle jackets. one is by alexander mcqueen and the other's by dolce and gabbana. speaking of d&g...seems like somone is a biter when it comes to pencil skirts with a visible zipper in the back. but it's fine with me because it is a gorgeous skirt afterall.

now on to shoes...marc jacobs has done it again with a triple bow bootie. it would look adorable with a casual dress, maybe even with skinny jeans and a floral blouse.

i envy anyone who could pull these off. now try to get who these totally adorable high gladiator heels are by...yes, you guessed it...the amazing gladiator god of all, givenchy. they seem inappropriate for all occassions, but i still envy anyone who can pull them off.

the red soles explain who these are by...im just totally speechless right now! the thin golden heel on the twisto-yoyo slingbacks are just so amazing. black and gold have such an amazing contrast to the red sole. the drapiday pumps are just amazing. no other word can describe them.

i so wish i could afford these oscar de la renta shoes. theyre so classy and simple. the tortoise shell heel gives it a uniqueness and that "hey im designer shoes and i own you bitch" look to it.

while we're on the turtoise shell heel look right now i must show these gorgeous guiseppe zanotti buckled pumps too. it again has that "i own you bitch" look to it that i love!

so im not a big fan of wedged boots but these are just totally cute!

oh dior you never let me down. those platform boots are definately something i'd save my money up for. i'm not even kidding they're are so gorgeousful, yes it's a word. and the cut-out sandal is just fabulous. it would be even more fabulous if it cam in black too.

"it would be very easy for us to do a collection that everybody would like and not criticize. but criticism is a part of life. you have to take it". i don't know what donatella versace is talking about here. the fall 2008 collection for versace is incredible! the colors and designs are just so gorgeous. the double outer layer look is so cute...and i love how they did the dark eyes, pale lips look with the models and just simply tied their hairs back. i like how they used more colors than most fall collections, but it's not the vibrant in-your-face colors like dior has used. here are some of my ultimate favorites from the fall 2008 RTW:

why have one tie when you can pull off two? oh boy, only karl lagerfeld could pull of something like that. here are a few pictures from his fall 08 rtw collection. i love the grungy yet classy look he pulls off.

it is a pity that gianfranco ferre had to pass away last year. but im glad that it still hasn't lost it clean touch. this collection is simply ultra soft and chic. even though the hats used have a pimp-esque look and the white hoisery with the ankle boots are look ever so tacky, the clothes are amazingly gorgeous. here are some of my favorites:

an earthquake, hail, and rain?

it's official...mother nature is bipolar. so at 9:30 there was a little earthquake...then in the middle of third period the whole class becomes quiet and our teacher asks if we hear that then he opens the door and we all run towards it to see that it's full on hailing! huge chunks of ice were hitting all of us...talk about crazy! then the sun comes out. then 10 minutes later, it starts raining uber hard. today's weather was very interesting. as much as i love the rain this type of weather scares me...it's the middle of may, almost summertime, and now we have rain?

i kind of admire tom ford for his risque and rebellious ads. it's amazing how the italians say it's too risque...of all people the italians? even though they are quite provocative, i think they're amazingly artistic. i love how designers are going for that suggestive "soft porn" look (christian louboutin and david lynch's "fetish"). i still can't believe that the italians are outraged over the new sunglasses ad where the woman is biting down on my man's middle finger...how about the nude ads? in my opinion, a lady's cooch censored with tom ford cologne is far more risque...or a lady grabbing onto a man's crotch. the italian advertising institute obviously got so offended by the ad they totally banned it. too bad tom ford's gay though. he is absolutely amazing no joke. he put the glamour back in fahion. when he started working for gucci...they were basically bankrupted but thanks to his crativity, gucci was valued at $4.3 billion by 1993. if you've ever seen the music video for unbreak my heart by toni braxton, in the end that white dress with the side circle is designed by tom ford. oh why does he have to be gay...richard buckley better know how lucky he is to have tom ford. he's got looks, creativity, and that bad-ass rebellious side :P

so i'm totally stoked that i actually made a blog! it's mostly going to be focusing on fashion and dance music, hence the name "fashion extacy". so i was shocked when i went to the brea mall on friday with my friends, because we went to nordstrom to see/try on the marc jacobs misplaced heel shoes...and they were sold out! im amazed that people would actually buy such a shoe. but then again, it is a very artistic, inimitable shoe.

benny benassi finally released a new song called "i am not drunk". of course it has that amazing benny benassi signature beat and electric feel.
